miles from Durand, Wisconsin,
at the Round Hill site,
a locality with a rich
history. Previous uses
of this property include
an 1880’s logging
camp, 1920-30’s
religious retreat center
and school, and most
recently, a private home.
The property is now owned
by the Diocese of LaCrosse
and maintained by Round
Hill Inc.

The Burke House
The Burke House has
two bedrooms, full kitchen,
living room/dining room,
bath, porch, and sleeps
a maximum of six (2 queen-size
beds and 1 full-size
bed). This house is
located on the Chippewa
River on approximately
four acres of green
space. A large lawn
and screened picnic
pavilion on the grounds
are open to the public.
Experience the eagles,
deer and flowing waters!

Rates:
$550/week; $300/weekend

The Bowe Cabin
The Bowe Cabin has
a loft bedroom, full kitchen,
living room/dining room,
bath, screened porch,
deck, and sleeps a maximum
of four (2 full-size beds).
The cabin is located on
the Chippewa River in a
quiet corner of the property.
The deck provides a terrific
view and includes stairs
to the river!
Rates:
$550/week; $300/weekend

Policies
- Weekly rental: Check-in time is 4 p.m. Friday — check-out 11 a.m.
the following Friday.

Weekend rental: Check-in time is 4 p.m. Friday — check-out 11 a.m. Sunday.
- No smoking in The Burke House or The Bowe Cabin.
- No pets.
- Deposit equal to one-half the payment due with reservation contract. No Refunds.
- Remaining balance must be postmarked within 30 calendar days of the date indicated on your confirmation postcard.
- Cash, personal checks and money orders accepted.
- Bedding and towels provided.
- Dishes, kitchenware, dish towels, TV, and coffeemaker provided.
- Screened picnic pavilion with electricity can be rented for day visits, or during rental stay, for a small fee.
- There is no phone service at The Burke House or The Bowe Cabin; cell phones may or may not work
